Leading Self, Leading Teams, Leading Organizations
The Trimergent

required to be an effective leader at all levels of an organization.
It is comprised of 10 one-day sessions. The training is intense
and trainees are challenged to think at a depth they may have never reached
before. Included in the cost are all training material, experiential

Special
Training Events
The WBA schedules
at least six special training events each year-three in the spring and
three in the fall. These events address specific church needs as revealed
in surveys and evaluations. Training events have included the topics of
assimilation, mobilizing volunteers, mentoring, process mapping, church
finances, missions mobilization, reintegration, evangelism, demographic
mapping, and pastoral counseling. We also publicize additional conferences
and network with other providers to bring you the training you need.

Mentoring
The WBA offers
mentoring and coaching for pastors and staff members. This involves regular
meetings with the director for feedback on personal goals and challenges.
If you are interested in mentoring, contact the director for an initial
assessment of challenges, goals, and needs.
Marriage
Retreats for Staff and Spouses
The ministry is
stressful and inexorable in its constant demands. The WBA facilitates
and funds marriage retreats for pastors and church staff and their spouses
to provide opportunities for fellowship, learning and relaxation. If you
would like to go on a retreat, please contact the Director.
Church Staff Search Assistance
The WBA can help you find a new pastor or staff member and counsel you
through the process. Call us at 512-930-0965 or email info@wbatexas.org.
